Video and audio
Make video and audio from openly licensed media.
in-media is being built to put together videos and audio from openly licensed pictures, clips, music and voices, plus your own uploads, in any language.
Early build
Early build. The Make tab can already assemble a short video from openly licensed pictures and music. Uploads, more sources and more languages come next.
Only openly licensed media
Only public domain and CC-BY style licences are used. Anything marked non-commercial or no-derivatives stays out. The credit line travels with every item.
Your own work
You can add your own voice, pictures, music and clips. Every upload needs a rights declaration and a licence choice.

Planned source families
- Wikimedia Commons
- Openverse
- Internet Archive (public domain and CC items)
- YouTube and Vimeo items under CC-BY
Connected now: Openverse, which searches many open collections at once. The families above are the plan; they are not all connected yet.
Your uploads
Add your own work
Uploads are not open yet. This shows the steps every upload will go through.
1. Rights declaration
2. Licence
3. Copyright scan
Audio and video will be fingerprinted and matched against known copyrighted content before going live. Not built yet.
4. Report and takedown
Anyone will be able to report a file, and it will be reviewed and pulled quickly. Not built yet.
5. Review queue
New users' uploads will wait for review. Trusted users go live sooner.

About in-media
in-media is part of the same family as Impact Connect and in-meet, with its own separate project and its own data.
It collects no personal data. Your pictures, captions and videos stay on your phone.
